I want to talk about One Piece and its profound awesomness.

In light of recent events in the manga, I think I might love One Piece even more than I did before. I DID NOT THINK THIS WAS POSSIBLE. Oda's story is meticulous and emotionally consistent. However, Oda's deep and incredibly nuanced storytelling isn't always immediately obvious. You need all the details to appreciate One Piece. And everything becomes even more awesome in retrospect. The flashback of Luffy's past was a perfect example of this! It fleshed out Luffy and Ace's characters brilliantly, as well as adding even more to depth to the series ethos.

I've heard the theory going around that Sabo is still alive! I hope it's true! I so, so hope it's true! Dragon could've picked up Sabo and saved him! He just might be the one Dragon said needed serious medical treatment! Luffy needs someone who's close to him right now and would be great to see Sabo show up sometime in the near future!

I recently saw episode 455. Robin is rescued by revolutionaries and Usopp trying to stay alive on an island with Heracles'n in this ep. I think nearly everyone know by now that I really love Robin. I adored her story! Even if Oda didn't contribute to these fillers it still has all the hallmarks of his themes and characterizations. This short really displayed how much Robin cares for her Nakama and how far she's come since Enies Lobby. It was so horrible seeing her tortured, but her resolve to see her nakama again was amazing. "I will get out of here, even if I have to cut hands off! Oh Robin, you are so awesome! I love you!

And I love how she acted so cool and composed while the guards were interrogating her. "If you want to seduce me, you'll need a better atmosphere." Never change Robin. Never. Change. However, I think my favourite part was when the old Commander told Robin to stay back because "she'd slow them down," then she proceeded to own all the guards with one swift movement! Robin is truly a badass! I loved little Soran and her bravery. It was cute when she Robin she thought her name was pretty! I also loved the part where Soran is talking to the woman who turned Robin in. It was very poignant.

I did enjoy Usopp's story for the silliness and change of pace! It was very fun!

I haven't been watching the anime much lately because I don't think heart could take going through the Marineford arc after what's been happening in the manga lately. Besides I have other things I've been of late. However, I miss the crew and it's great to catch up them in these eps! Though, the animation wasn't the best this episode!
