Brave

 I just got back from seeing Brave, and I loved it dearly! It wasn’t perfect on the gender front and the pacing was a little awkward, but the mother/daughter relationship was beautifully done. The characters were great, the animation was gorgeous and the music was lovely. 

I have so many feelings for fictional mother/daughter relationships, and fiction sadly gives me so few them. So I was so happy to find out this movie was centred around the relationship between a mother and daughter is. The general concept isn’t particularly new, but centring it around a mother and daughter. And it was written in a such warm, funny and touching manner. Their scenes together were so well done.
