This is actually a terrible question to ask me because I am ridiculously motherly and my indecision lasted quite a while. I (generally) adore children. I adore Fate and I had urges to take care of her and give her many hugs. She's a very shy and sweet girl who'd I love to take care of. But, she later Lindy to take care of her, who is an awesome lady. I admit that Fate's story in the first season was not handled very well. Frankly, the first season was very flawed and was mediocre at best when compared to the other two seasons, especially A's. However, the recent movie adaption improves on  the first season greatly. It's everything I wished the first season was and more. Fate's story was handled in a beautiful and emotionally resounding manner.

In StrikersS,  my motherly feeling were transferred to Vivio.

And other kids I would include: Elicia Huges from FMA, little Clare! from Claymore,  Deiter from Monster  and  Kohane from xxxHolic. Okay, I also would've gladly adopted little Luffy from One Piece. Even though he would definitely be a handful at times.
