Title:  Perfection
Fandom:  Revolutionary Girl Utena
Characters: Juri/Miki
Summary:  Long after Utena has left Ohtori, Juri and Miki still like to have fencing practice with each other.



Juri and Miki sparred for the second time that day. The clashing of their rapiers echoed throughout the room.  Juri thrust her sword towards Miki, who quickly parried and disarmed his opponent.  As they both removed their masks, Juri gave her sparring partner a smirk.

“That’s the sixth time you’ve beaten me. You really are getting better every time we practice.

“Thank you.  I’ve been so focused on perfecting my technique for so long. But I’m just happy we get this time to practice together now. “Miki said somewhat wistfully as he gazed out of the practice rooms window.

“That’s certainly a change for you,” Juri teased slightly as she stood beside him.

“It seems we no longer have an audience during our practice sessions anymore.”  Juri observed casually.

“That’s true. To be honest, I’m glad that we don’t.”

“I can’t say that I miss them either.”

They smiled at each other. Silently, they left the room and spent the rest of the afternoon together.
