Light Yagami from Death Note


Trufax: even pictures of him send me into a rage. Okay, Light is a horrible person and a terribly written character. We're supposed to believe he wants to make the world a better place, and his means of doing so are morally ambiguous to say the least. However, he is pretty much a remorseless, murderous bastard from near the beginning. He'll kill anyone who gets in his way, whether they're a 'good person' or a 'bad person.'

The way he treats people is cruel, but what he did to Naomi was disgusting. He took very obvious sadistic glee in killing her, His attitude towards her and all other women in the series is completely disrespectful and condescending. Before I started watching the show, I thought Light would struggle with the moral implications of having a power like the Death Note. I really hoped he would be an interesting and  complex character. Episode 8 destroyed any hopes of that. I still followed it out of morbid curiosity, but the series severely disappointed me. Light is an extremely arrogant, sadistic and cowardly person.

Yeah. Once he ages up a little bit, I'd definitely date him. He's smart, funny, sweet and very dorky. He's the kind of guy I go for. He would be fun to go out with.

There's quite a few characters I think would very appealing choices for dating, but he is the character I find the most dateable.

He really reminds me of my boyfriend at times.

Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist


It would be so much fun to hang out with Winry!

Winry could look for automail parts and I would follow her and listen to her explain things. I would be probably get caught up in her excitement and want to learn more as we went.

Then we could go to the library, and it would be my turn to geek out! I would look in the literature  section and Winry could look at automail manuals. And later on, we could look at jewelry. I don't wear a lot, so maybe she could recommend some cool pairs of earrings to me.

I like cooking as well, so we could look for ingredients and plan things we could cook together one day.  Oh, and she has pretty great taste in clothes! It would be great getting tips what wear from Winry.

Tsukishima Shizuku from Whisper of the Heart


When I first watched Whisper of the Heart, I was struck by how much in common I had with Shizuku. And I probably relate to her better than any other character in fiction. Like Shizuku, I love to read, and spend more time indulging in this past time than studying. I am also the youngest in my family and prone to moments of deep insecurity and self-doubt.  We're both resilient, imaginative and fairly independent-minded as well. Also, my imagination sometimes leads to getting caught within in fantasy worlds and I often start conversations with animals.

 Fujioka Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club

I feel a little self-conscious about this one. I  bare a  very strong resemblance to Haruhi, since I'm a pale-skinned brunette with a very, very small build. We both have straight, dark brown hair, brown eyes and a similar facial structure. Just imagine Haruhi with slightly longer hair and small oblong-shaped glasses, and you have me. Exactly.

Shuga from Seirei no Moribito

I would totally choose Sokka for this too, but I since I listed him previously and I've already introduced a guy like him my parents, I decided to go with another character I would be willing to bring home to my parents. I want mix things up a bit now, because I can see some of my answers to the questions listed further down, becoming ever so slightly repetitive. But Shuga is someone I would definitely introduce to my parents. He's very polite, elegant, learned and an idealist. I think he and my parents would get along. He would be extremely charming and easy to talk with.

There are many people I wouldn't, but Akio is definitely at the top of the list. He's a creeper and it would be awkward for all. He freaks me the fuck out. While I admit he is quite handsome, I'm sure I am as susceptible to his fourth wall seduction powers as others seem to be.

Yomiko Readman: Read or Die


I would totally be est friends with Yomiko! We both love books deeply (although she is an even bigger bookworm than I am) and we could discuss the things we've read. Yomiko's such a friendly, enthusiastic person I think I could get along very well with. We could check out places on her paper planes and she could do some other amazing and useful things with her paper skills. Yes, she is rather absent-minded and has a tendency to get caught up in the books she reads. If we both became to caught up in talking over books or other things, Nenene could keep us on track. ^^;
