Wow, that's so awful for the movie to do those things. I'm not really surprised considering this film company also made the Lorax which had that shitty cissexist joke in it. Still though, it's infuriating that these films are getting worse with the isms.
I'm really sick and tired of children's movies having this need to shove hetero couples in our faces. God forbid we have a film that doesn't have any romance what-so-ever and that it's ok to be a single parent. Also God forbid that we have queer couples for once in a children's film because apparently, that's not appropriate for young people to see. :| :| :|
I didn't like the first movie so much simply because I didn't find the art style very appealing. Plus I just really liked Megamind so much better.
Ugggggh, I just know my brothers gonna drag me to see this movie. Because he loves the first one a lot. I'd rather see Monsters University instead.
