Tumblr Hiatus #Ableism #Rape Culture #sexual Assault

 I think I'll be going on hiatus from Tumblr. I don't know how long it will be for. People have called me "insane" and told me I need intensive professional help because I was triggered by a scene in LOK where Bolin kisses a woman while tied down. They are shaming me and calling me mentally ill. I do suffer from anxiety, and I have suffered from depression. And these are things to be shamed for and that they invalidate my views  according to these people. 

I'm going through a very stressful time in my life. I just found out my sister has ovarian cancer and I am also finishing up my degree. When I go to Tumbr, I do it to reduce stress. But all it's doing is making me more anxious at the moment. My queue will still be on going, but other than that, you probably won't be seeing me on Tumblr for a while.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry! That's seriously awful of those people. I completely understand - and it's true, it utterly sucks when the place you go for distraction and relaxation just leads to more stress. {{{{{hugs}}}}} Please take care of yourself!!

I'm sorry people are being jerks. Taking a break sounds like a good idea. Hope you'll feel better soon.

I don't watch the show but I just saw a post from someone else on my reading list who was raging about that same scene. I think the writers are going to get some heavy backlash for that.
